For Kids Gazette Playtime Paris is Nr.1 event during the fashion season. It presents next season collections, sets the trends, gathers journalists and stylists from power magazines and blogs, as well as welcomes buyers from all over the globe. It is where aesthetics and beauty of designer creations, meet customers and find the best cooperations. I was there to spot some newcomers and say Hi! to friends and colleagues.
In this post I will share the mood of Playtime 2014 summer edition, but there are more posts coming up in the next days, where I will introduce some of my favorite brands, as well as show three Latvian brands, who participated in Playtime.
I am always curious to see the trendspaces created by different artists. It is where imagination and art meets fashion.

This is like hello to Yayoi Kusama!
Well, for me this was new – a brand from denmark Little Remix, that have been around since 2007. They have also a woman line, but this is like a “mini me” version with super stylish outfilts like leather biker jackets, oversized leather shorts, rompers and silky jumpsuits etc. All I could dress myself and put it also on my daughter. Love.
There are always some colorful brands I also like.
And there are always a few brands who love the rebellious attitude, with a lot of black and bold prints. Beau and Arrows go for ants next season.
Another “chill out” setting.
Went to say hi to my dear Barbara from Soft Gallery, but she had decided to take some rest from Playtime (well, you can’t meet her in person), but the lovely assistant told she will be back in January! Barbara, a hug from me!
